Press release: The following announcement was issued by Investing Expos LLC, organiser of the London Prop Trading Expo, and is published in full without edits.

New simulated trading evaluation programme to have a major presence at the event and sponsor the Traders’ Café

London, 12th October 2026 – CMC Funded has been announced as Titanium Sponsor of the London Prop Trading Expo, bringing a major presence to the event and sponsoring the Traders’ Cafe, where attendees can enjoy a complimentary cup of premium coffee, connect with fellow traders and meet the CMC Funded team.

The sponsorship follows the launch of CMC Funded, announced on 28 September 2026 by CMC Markets (“CMC”), a FTSE 250 company and global multi-asset financial services firm. Developed through a strategic partnership to identify and support trading talent, CMC Funded is a new simulated proprietary trading evaluation programme drawing on CMC Markets’ technology, market expertise and trader insight.

Taking place at Old Billingsgate on 23rd & 24th October 2026, the London Prop Trading Expo will give attendees the opportunity to learn more about CMC Funded and its approach to helping aspiring traders develop their skills and demonstrate consistent performance.

As Titanium Sponsor, CMC Funded will be a prominent presence at the expo. Its sponsorship of the Traders’ Cafe will also create a welcoming meeting point throughout the day: a place to pause between conversations, compare experiences and enjoy premium coffee on the house—with the possibility of something a little stronger later in the day.

The announcement comes as CMC Funded introduces its first referral partner, Verichain, an AI-powered recruitment platform connecting candidates with companies across finance, trading and technology. The partnership creates a potential pathway from simulated trading performance to career opportunities.

Under the partner programme, all participants receive a dedicated $100,000 simulated trading evaluation provided by CMC Funded. The account size, performance target and risk parameters are pre-set and consistent for every participant, providing a structured environment in which candidates can demonstrate their trading abilities. Those who pass receive a Verified Trader badge and are offered an interview opportunity through Verichain.

CMC Funded participants can access a broad range of global markets, including prediction-market events, through a single simulated account. The programme operates separately to CMC Markets and is not a regulated product or service provided by CMC Markets. CMC Funded does not open live brokerage accounts, hold client money, execute customer trades or arrange investments.

The Titanium sponsorship brings CMC Funded’s launch into direct conversation with the trading community, giving London Prop Trading Expo attendees an opportunity to explore the programme, meet its team and connect over a complimentary coffee at the CMC Funded-sponsored Traders’ Cafe.

Benjamin Charbonneau, Managing Director and Head of CMC Funded

Benjamin Charbonneau, CFA, Managing Director and Head of CMC Funded, said:

“We’re delighted to join the London Prop Trading Expo as the Titanium Sponsor. It’s a valuable opportunity to meet traders face to face and share what we’re building at CMC Funded.

“We’ll also be joined by Match-Trader, the technology behind our prop trading platform, and Verichain, our first talent referral partner. Traders can meet the teams behind the CMC Funded ecosystem and learn more about how strong performance can open the door to potential career opportunities.

“Our focus is on finding and supporting trading talent, so the Expo is a natural fit for us. Trust in this sector must be earned. Our responsibility is to be clear about how the programme works and to raise standards through what we deliver, not simply what we promise. The Expo gives us an opportunity to bring that commitment directly to the trading community.”

Simon Campbell, CEO of Investing Expos

Simon Campbell, CEO Investing Expos and organiser of the event says:

“I’m delighted to welcome CMC Funded as Titanium Sponsors to this years’ London Prop Trading Expo. This move by CMC Funded to support trading talent at the early stages aligns with the objectives of the London Prop Trading Expo to offer traders a fair, transparent platform to connect with firms and educators.”
