MyTradingReviews (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates www.mytradingreviews.com (the “Site”), an independent broker review and comparison platform. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

1. Data We Collect

Contact details you submit — name and email address when you subscribe to our newsletter, submit a “Get Listed” or contact inquiry, nominate a broker, or post a review or comment.
Content you submit — review text, ratings, comments, and nomination details.
Usage data — pages visited, approximate location (country/city level), device and browser type, and referral source, collected via Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation.
Vote data — when you recommend a broker, we store an anonymous identifier in your browser to prevent duplicate votes. No account or email is required.

2. How We Use Your Data

To send you the newsletter you subscribed to (you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email).
To respond to listing, partnership, or support inquiries.
To publish and moderate user reviews and comments.
To measure and improve how the Site is used (analytics).
To protect the Site against abuse, spam, and duplicate voting.

3. Legal Bases

Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on: your consent (newsletter, analytics cookies), performance of a contract / pre-contractual steps (responding to your inquiries), and our legitimate interests (site security, spam prevention, and improving our editorial service).

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run the Site:

Supabase — database hosting for reviews, votes, and inquiries.
Sanity — content management for editorial articles.
Google Analytics — aggregated usage measurement.
Mailjet — newsletter delivery.

6. International Transfers

Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and Asia-Pacific regions. Where required, transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards offered by those providers.

Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Inquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards. Published reviews and comments remain on the Site unless you ask us to remove them.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

The Site is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
